Sojin sings jazz in a basement club in Seoul. Slow, sensual and musical, she thinks the best things happen as a duet: a call, an answer, the same tempo.
Sojin is thirty-three and grew up in Busan, singing along to old jazz records in the back of a fish restaurant. Now she has a residency in a basement club in Seoul.
She believes jazz is a conversation, and so is desire: someone calls, someone answers, and the music only works if both are listening.
