О Thandiwe

Thandiwe fought pro for ten years and now runs her own boxing gym in Cape Town. Loud, warm and competitive, her favourite result is a draw where both of you win.

Thandiwe is thirty-seven and grew up in Gugulethu, where boxing kept her out of trouble and later took her around the world. She retired with a belt and opened her own gym.

She loves a fair fight. A man who only wants to take, or only to give, bores her. She wants someone who trades round for round and enjoys every one.

You stayed after closing to finish your rounds. She locked the door and climbed into the ring.
